For those of you who are interested in going on the Mission Trip during Spring Break this year, here are some of the photos that Fr. Daniel, Taylor, and Omar brought back to share with us. They include photos from Sr. BJ’s Pantry warehouse, garden, library, picnic area, and her emergency mobile pantry. Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting on Sunday night as well. Don’t forget that if you are committed to going, you need to pay your $50 to Fr. Daniel before Mass this coming Sunday, Feb. 7th.

Preparation is already underway, and it’ll be here before you know it. The 2010 Spring Mission Trip will take place during Spring Break in Oklahoma City. If you want to go, or think you would like to help out with the Mission Trip, come to the meeting. When is it? Fr. Daniel will hold the meeting, with insight from Omar Garcia and Taylor Elzner, this Sunday Jan. 31st after Mass and dessert. If you are interested in attending the Mission Trip in any way, you must be at this meeting!

We have started Adoration for the Spring semester!! Thank you to all those who made committments this Spring. If you did not sign up and still want to come, you are more than welcome to. Adoration is held on Thursday afternoons from 1:00pm to 6:30pm. if you signed up and forget your time, don’t worry, here’s the time schedule for Adoration.

Monday Jan. 18th, the CSC will be hosting a Wii Bowling Tournament and a Pool Tournament due to fact that there will be no school in observance of Martin Luther King Day . They will begin at 2:30pm, so if you’re interested, come by the CSC to sign up from 2:00pm - 2:15pm. If you have any questions about the tourney, come by the CSC, contact Kaycee at kledbetter@wtcsc.com or call us at 655-4345. We look forward to having some fun and seeing you on your day off!

It’s that time again. School’s starting back up and we’re getting ready to kick off a new and improved semester here at the CSC. Our first Spring Mass will be held this Sunday, Jan. 10 at 5:30pm. We will also start off our weekly Wednesday schedule on Jan. 13, as well. This includes Catholic U at 5:30, Mass at 6:30, Free Meal at 7:00 which will be followed by a fun activity. Hey Everyone! Hope you all had a blessed Christmas and that you have a Great New Year! Something that this New Year will bring is another CSC Auction/Fundraiser. For this event, we still need items for the live and silent auctions that we will be having. In order to get these items, we need to do some auction blitzing. We need all the help we can get! The shifts available will be 10am to 1pm, and 1pm to 4pm of Jan. 5th, 6th, and 7th. If you can’t make one of those shifts, don’t worry, you can work something out with Betty to go on the weekend if possible. Please help us as we prepare for the upcoming auction which will be held Feb. 6th, 2010.

For all of you who don’t know, we are currently putting together our big annual Cardinal Newman League mailout. This is one of the two fundraisers that we do yearly to help pay the bills. We really need your help in making this mailout be the best one yet. If you have any spare time, come by the CSC and help put together the envelopes to be sent out. On Dead Day, Thursday Dec. 3rd, we will be finishing up the mailout and we’ll need all the help we can get. So please help make things go by quicker, come by and help out! Thanks!

Just a friendly reminder that for the Thanksgiving holiday, the CSC will be closed from Thursady, Nov. 26th, to Saturday, Nov. 28th. We will resume on Sunday, Nov. 29th, with Mass at 5:30pm and the dessert immediately following. Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and that your travels are safe. God Bless!
